VE Day Celebrations

The Eightieth Anniversary of VE Day, the end of the Second World War in Europe, is on 8th May.

Residents of Peopleton, you are cordially invited to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8th May in the churchyard from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for a free Barbecue.

Burgers and Hotdogs ( with a vegetarian option) will be served and soft drinks will be available.

Bring your own drinks if you’d like something stronger or visit The Crown en route.

The Church Bells will be rung at 6:30pm ( in line with other churches) and we would love children to come and help “ring out “ the bells as load as possible.
