Peopleton Church - Giving

There are many ways we can give to the life of our church and community: by giving time to support someone, by using talents that we have, by getting involved in something and by giving money.

Should you wish to consider donating there are many ways this can be undertaken:

Gift

Join others who give regularly through the weekly gift envelope scheme.

Cheque

Write a cheque direct to PCC of Peopleton.

Leave a legacy

This could be left for general purposes or ring fenced for specific usage.

Standing Order

A straightforward way you can give regularly is by using our bank details to set up a standing order with your bank that will automatically transfer money from your account into the Church’s bank account, safely each month.

This is a great way to give to the church without the need to bring cash with you to services, and you can change or cancel the standing order at any time.

The Friends of St Nicholas Church, Peopleton (FOSN)

The Friends of St Nicholas Church is a charitable Trust which raises funds for the church building. All donations or grants may only be used for the upkeep of the fabric of the church and may not be diverted for any other use. The Trustees are independent of the Parochial Church Council, the Diocese of Worcester or any other group. The Charity Commission Number is 1127575.

St Nicholas Church is nearly a thousand years old and is a grade II* listed building and is situated in a conservation area. It is the oldest building in Peopleton. Please view the images of some of the work we have undertaken. The list of works attached tells you what FOSN has done since its charitable foundation in 2009.

To find out more about us go onto the Charity Commission website: Enter the number in the “find a charity” part of the site and this will give information on our finances.

FOSN also runs the “100 Club.” There are prizes every month of £80, £40, £25, £20 and two lots of £10. Membership only costs £5 per month and there is a much better chance to win a prize than in the national lottery! To join the “100 Club” please contact Selwyn Brough on 07962252283.

To find out about the FOSN constitution and more about what we do please contact the secretary at philmullington@btinternet.com or on 01905 841278.

Membership is open to all by making a donation of whatever you can afford and we welcome you to join us in supporting this cause and ensure the survival of St Nicholas for succeeding generations.

The Friends of St Nicholas Church would like to express their thanks to the National Lottery for financial support for this project.
